The Nexus Series is Dyrholm Audio’s reference series – the culmination of 20 years of dedicated development in the field of high-end audio cables.
At the heart of Dyrholm Audio stands John Dyrholm – a developer, craftsman, and passionate audiophile. From an early fascination with high-fidelity systems, John immersed himself in building electronics and designing loudspeakers, refining his understanding of signal transmission. Eventually, he recognized that the true potential of any hi-fi system lies in the cables that connect it all. It was here that he found his calling.
Today, Dyrholm Audio is synonymous with uncompromising cable design. Every product is handcrafted in Denmark with obsessive attention to detail, material purity, and acoustic performance. The cables from Dyrholm Audio are not produced as off-the-shelf items but are handcrafted specifically for each individual customer. This approach allows for great flexibility when it comes to special requests, which is why some lead time should be expected.

The construction of this cable series is entirely uncompromising – and it shows. Cables in the Nexus Series deliver a striking musical presence with extreme precision, from the deepest bass to the highest treble.
What these cables do for musical reproduction must be experienced, it cannot be explained with words alone.
The interconnect cables in the Nexus series are made of monocrystal 6N+ solid silver wire. Ultra pure, developed and manufactured in the EU.
No less than 3 of these solid wires are used in each conductor, double braided with unbleached cotton to provide a large distance between the individual wires and increase the distance between the conductors and the screen.
The wires are 100% sealed against oxidation.
This uncompromising construction ensures low capacitance internally in the cable, which provides audibly higher sound quality.
The screen is made of tinned copper wire and is connected to ground at the sending end of the cable, which contributes to a completely noise-free cable.
The connectors that we use on these cables are from Furutech’s NCF Series. (XLR / RCA) These connectors ensure the connection between the devices in the best possible way and keep the sound quality at the highest level.
The speaker cables in the Nexus series are made of monocrystal copper wire (UPOCC).
3 x 12 wires, separately braided with cotton, are used in each conductor, with an area of more than 18 mm2 (AWG 5) per conductor, and 4 of these are used for a set of speaker cables.
The wires are 100% sealed against oxidation.
Our experience and many tests with UPOCC copper wire have shown that it’s the best type of wire where high voltage and current must be transmitted. Here copper surpasses even the best silver wire.
The cable is shielded and the shield can be connected to ground with the included cables, which provides less noise and further improves the performance of the cable.
Supplied with Furutech NCF spade or banana plugs.
The power cables in the Nexus series are made of monocrystal copper wire (UPOCC).
24 wires are used in each conductor, separately braided with cotton, 6.8 mm2 in each conductor (AWG 9).
The ground connection is made of silver-plated OFC copper wire, also AWG 9.
The wires are 100% sealed against oxidation.
Our experience and many tests with UPOCC copper wire have shown that it is the best type of wire where high voltage and current must be transmitted. Here copper surpasses even the best silver wire.
The power cable is shielded and supplied with Furutech NCF connectors.
The plugs are available in both (R) rhodium plated and (AG) silver plated for most markets.
The rhodium version is chosen for its open and detailed sound, while the silver version is chosen where a slightly calmer sound is desired.
It is entirely up to individual preferences.
