This is the second generation of the Phoenix Series from Dyrholm Audio (2020). The upgrade provides a significant audio enhancement.
The speaker cable is changed internally with 50% more wires and with better control and better perspective and detailed sound than before.
The Phoenix Series excels in a lucid, yet exact and detailed sound, that never tend to get harsh. You get it all, and still you can go on listening for hours and hours.
The Phoenix Speaker cable is constructed from silver-plated solid copper wire of varying diameters. All wires are isolated with separate cotton braids, and finally gathered in a sealed tube that prevents oxidation.
Speaker cables supplied with spades or bananas from Furutech, both with rhodium-plated copper.
The cables from Dyrholm Audio are not produced as off-the-shelf items but are handcrafted specifically for each individual customer. This approach allows for great flexibility when it comes to special requests, which is why some lead time should be expected.

Looking at rhythm and timing, it all feels very correct. No crazy stuff … not overly dynamic, but ample dynamics across the board. Truly a “nothing goes wrong” cable that does everything just right.
